YessFish is the social network for anglers, by anglers. By using YessFish you agree to these guidelines. Together we keep it positive, sporting and safe — for young and old alike.
Treat each other with respect
We help each other out, we don’t tear each other down. Spot something that could be better — like someone fishing without an unhooking mat? Then point it out kindly and constructively instead of hurling insults. Language like "what an idiot, hand in your fishing licence" has no place here. It’s okay to make mistakes; we learn from each other. Stay sporting, in your comments too.
What you share (feed, photos & catches)
• Share real, fishing-related content. • No nudity, sexually explicit or shocking material — YessFish is for all ages. • No violence, hate, discrimination, bullying, threats or harassment. • No spam, scams, illegal content or advertising without permission. • Only post content you created yourself or are allowed to use. • Respect other people’s privacy; don’t share someone else’s details without their permission.
Fish with respect for nature
• Stick to the law, your permit and the closed seasons. • Handle fish with care: use an unhooking mat, wet hands, and release it quickly and safely. • No poaching or illegal fishing — not on camera and not as a ‘tip’ either. • Leave no litter behind; respect nature and your surroundings.
Real accounts
Use one real account. Don’t impersonate anyone else and don’t create fake profiles.
Who YessFish is for
YessFish is a platform for anglers. People who are against angling and come here to voice it by attacking, threatening, defaming or actively obstructing our members or the sport of angling are not welcome. Such accounts and content will be removed.
Protecting young people
Members under 16 are automatically placed in a safe youth mode, and parents can keep an eye on things through parental controls. Behaviour that puts minors at risk leads to immediate removal and, where necessary, a report to the authorities.
Consequences, reporting & changes
Come across something that crosses the line? Report it using the report button; our moderation team will take a look. In case of a violation we can remove content, issue a warning or delete your account (temporarily or permanently). We may update these guidelines from time to time.
